Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and finding gifts for our partners is always impossible. There is only so much candy one person can eat, right? Not to mention, edible panties usually just result in a yeast infection. One gift that will surely require both you and your partner to travel outside of your comfort levels is called “Love is Art”.
Love Is Art is a creative way to make a romantic piece of art that both you and your partner can enjoy both during and after. It was founded by South African-born artist, Jeremy Brown and has become an artistic movement on social media and in bedrooms across the world. #LoveIsArt
- 10′ x 12′ plastic painters tarp to protect surfaces from paint splatters
- 41″ x 54″ specially treated white or black cotton canvas
- Specially-formulated non-toxic paint colors (you can choose whichever colors you’d like!)
- Two pairs of disposable slippers
- Soft mesh body scrubber
How To Do it?
The instructions say to put the paint on the canvas and then use your bodies to create the art. Some people also choose to take part in different sexual activities on the canvas and see where it goes. The paint does not hurt, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend putting it IN any body parts.
Once you’ve put the paint on the canvas you use your bodies to create the art. Remember putting your hands in paint and then on the paper in Kindergarten? Well now, dunk those boobies in paint and smear away! (If you have ever showered in a bathroom with glass shower doors, you know what I’m talking about.)
After you’re painting is all said and done, slip the booties on and run to the bathroom to wash off! If you experience any irritation (which you may if you choose to have sex on the canvas, milk or coconut oil can be used to soothe your va-jay-jay. (Obviously, do NOT use these things if you have any allergy to them at all. Warm water is also recommended-no soap, soap can cause infections!)
Is It Weird?
Sex can be weird in general, between the noises, aftermath, stickiness, protection etc. It’s rarely like it is in the movies, unless you set the scene first, and then of course the only thing you’re missing is the camera.
